Givenchy's darkness show us feelings like dizzy and toxic, but we are always looking for the acridity beauty by Riccardo Tisci. Finding the light, falling down the darkness, like a moth in midnight queen rather than butterflies. Saturnia pyri which is sketched by Vincent van Gogh in his letter to his brother, or Acherontia atropos in The Silence of the Lambs.
今回のGivenchyは蝶というより蛾をモチーフにしたドレスの数々を発表。ダークネスな世界観は相変わらずですが、その妖しさの中でも際立つブラウン、パープル、ファーは正に闇の中のクイーンといった感じです。蛾の持つ美しさといのはかなり好みが分かれますし、その危うい毒々しさをここまで美に近づけるとは、流石としかいいようがないです。モチーフはたぶんオオクジャクサンかクロメンガタスズメという品種と思われます。前者はゴッホが弟にあてた手紙に、後者は羊達の沈黙で有名ですね。虫が苦手な人は検索するときは注意してください（笑
