Four New Faces of 2014AW

This is final post about 2014AW new faces. I wrote about Mona and Merrie, focusing on one trend of models, which is boys innocence. That is not equal to androgynous as like Freja, or Saskia. It's as like shines of developing to men from boys, more young. Leading this trend by Prada mainly has already introduced Scarlett Gray and Sarah Taylor. It's very young looks but Chanel, Saint Laurent, J.W. Anderson, Valentino, i know how important young looks for designer's inspirations.

And Merrie, Amalie, Jitte, i'm so glad to see their debuting season. I always find new faces, thinking about form of their walking, and so many photographs. It's my great delight.

遅れましたが、今シーズンの新人ピックアップは今回の４人で最後になります。最後まで迷いましたが、なんとか１０人に絞れました。というか他の注目モデルはModelsとStyle.comが紹介していますので、差別化という意味でも今回は絞りに絞った感じです。だからといって判断基準をずらしたりはしてませんけどね。

MonaとMerrieは現在モデルのトレンドになりそうな少年的なルックスが今回目立っていましたね。少年的と言っても、FrejaやSaskiaみたいなアンドロジナス的なものではなく、もっと若い、成長過程にある少年のイメージが印象に残ります。このトレンドをリードするのはもちろんPradaですが、Scarlett Grayと Sarah Taylorなんかが当てはまりますね。この少年的なイメージというのは、なかなかストライクなブランドが多く、Chanel、Prada、Saint Laurent、Valentino、J.W.Andersonと今後も需要は絶えないと思います。

そしてMerrie、Amalie、Jitteに関しては単純に嬉しかったですね、以前紹介してたこともあって。自分は新人モデルをチェックするときはいつもランウェイを歩く姿やエディトリアルなんかを想像して選んでいるのですが、それが叶う瞬間というのは本当に嬉しいものです。やっぱりモデルになったからには、いろんなデザイナーやフォトグラファー達が描く姿に変身してほしいものですし、それが彼女の魅力をまた更にアップさせてくれるものなんだなと、いつもそう思わされます。

Two new faces of 2014AW

Today's new faces i introduced are models who debuted with very important designers. Helena debuted Saint Laurent last season, and walked this season too. Next time, Prada mens' show, , Christopher Kane opening, and models.com tapped her as top 10 newfaces.

She did not have many runways but got very important careers.

And, i expect she gets Ad Campaign of Saint Laurent, the another is Grace Hartzel

今日紹介したい、2014AWの新人二人はとても重要なデザイナー達のランウェイでデビューを果たしたモデルです。

Helena Severinは前シーズンのサンローランでデビューを果たし、次にメンズのプラダ、今シーズンはクリストファーケインのオープニングと、数は少ないものの重要なランウェイを着実に掴んでいます。Models.comも今回彼女を期待の新人モデルTop10に入れており、将来性はかなりのものになった気がします。

それと最後に予想なんですが、次のサンローランのAdはHelenaとGrace Hartzelになるんじゃないかと思ってます。

It's definitely that Marc Jacobs made the trend of red hair models as before, he seemed to make a new wave to fashion industry again. Thick eyebrows and sexy lips bring me something new !

Marc Jacobsが作り出した赤毛モデルのトレンドは今シーズンも継続していましたが、それ以上の個性派を出してきましたね。太い眉にセクシーな唇、何か新しいものを感じずにはいられないです。Marc Jacobsのみのランウェイかと思われましたが、サンローランのランウェイにラストだけ出てますね、なんとも気になるキャスティングです。

今シーズンの新人モデル、今回はJ.W Anderson でデビューした二人をご紹介。J.W Andersonの名声は既に周知の事実ですが、それと同時にキャスティングにも注目が集まります。一人はScarlett Gray、ガーリーでボーイッシュな雰囲気を併せ持つ彼女は今のモードの世界にはぴったりの人材で、既にPradaとValentinoは彼女をキャストしています。後はSaint Laurent ですかね、少年的な表情はHedi Slimaneのキャスト基準の一つなので。そしてもう一人はVita West、言うまでもない個性的な顔立ち、可能性に底が見えないと言いますか、注目しない訳にはいかないと思います。

It's time to introduce new faces from 2014AW Fashion Week, the girls i really really want to are from Brazil and The Netherlands ! 1st girl is Larissa Marchiori, from Brazil. She debuted Prada exclusively, and waked Valentino, Saint Laurent, Miu Miu. Even though she missed Chanel, Louis Vuitton, but I can not help hoping her glory ! Combination sexy sensibility as like Brazilian Passion between cuteness as like European's elegance, it's very peerless !

本日は今シーズンの新人二人をご紹介、今回個人的に一番輝いていたのはブラジルとオランダ出身の二人でした。一人目はLarissa Marchiori、ブラジル出身。今回プラダデビューを果たし、その後のランウェイも言わずもがな、大成功を収めたシンデレラガールです。Chanelは逃してしまいましたが、それでもValentino、サンローラン、Miu Miuなどにキャストされた功績は必ず今後に活かされるはずです。キュートなルックスながらもセクシーな口元、ブラジル人の持つ情熱的な雰囲気に欧州系のエレガントなルックスを持つ超期待の新人だと思います。

The girl who has extreme pureness looks like fairy loves fashion, check her instagram ! After this season, i hope she walks at Chanel, Prada, Valentino !

SabineはCalvin Klein のエクスクルーシブデビューを果たしましたが、今回はその後の怪我により、ランウェイは一つに終わってしまいました。とても不幸な出来事でしたが、それでも彼女の名を知らしめるには十分なランウェイになったと思います。妖精のようなルックスを持つ彼女はとてもファッションが好きのようで、Instagramも要チェックです。今後はChanel、Prada、Valentinoのランウェイが期待されますね。
