Hedi Slimane for Céline







The surge is ready, Hedi Slimane back to the fashion.
We never forecast future, but not difficult to feel something a big surge, that's called a trend.
Very interesting is he already knows how to walk with models, and fashion knows correlation and how much he contributed for models industry in Saint Laurent Paris.
I am very happy.

SlimaneがCéline のデザイナーとして戻ってきました、いつ戻ってくるのかモヤモヤした気持ちで過ごしていましたがほっとしたというのが第一の感想です。
彼がサンロラーン時代に果たしたモデル産業への貢献は誰もが知っている通りだと思いまし、今後モデルのキャリアに多様性が生まれるのは間違いないと思います。多くのデザイナーやビッグネームが離れていった現状を照らす明るいニュースでもありますね。
人間は未来を予想することはできません、でも何か大きなことが起きる予兆を感じることは特別難しいことではないのです。それが良いか悪いか、まあ少なくとも彼のファンにとっては良いこと以外にありえないのですがね。

Nimue Smit for Prada365, New Next Ad Campaign

Although models life is very short, sometimes, especially, Prada gives big gifts to successive their Prada girls. Reunited, that makes me feel Prada is Prada which i know, and i love.
But the fashion is changing once again, Willy Vanderperre shot this campaign, not by Steven Meisel. i do not mean it's negative, it's changing.

前回のPradaのランウェイにも復活したNimueがPradaの新しいAd広告であるPrada365にも起用されてますね。歴代のPradaガールズの再起用はPradaならではの粋な計らいでうれしいです。
ただファッションの世界は未だに変わり続けています。今回のフォトグラファーはWilly Vanderperreｍ、 Steven Meiselではありません。今後どうなるかはまだ分かりませんし、自分はこのことをネガティブに捉えているわけでもありません。ただ、この大きな変化をしっかり認識しておく必要がありそうです。

Fashion Week 2017SS has started already



New York Fashion Week has already started, i want you to know about a big environmental change. To put it briefly, especially newfaces could have hard time more than ever, i mean it even new Prada girls from latest Ad Campaign 2016FW.

I felt two messages from Prada 2016SS and 2016AW. 1st face in Prada is not Cinderella story by 2016SS, and very unclear by 2016AW at its ad Campaign. Prada said itself.

Valentino made a latest ad campaign with different casting, because Maria Grazia Chiuri left Valentino to Dior, Pier Paolo Piccioli for Valentino as a single designer.

A trend faces trendless sometimes, now the models industry is facing trendless. Hedi Slimane,  Alber Elbaz left you know. Maria Grazia Chiuri left Valentino to Dior, Pier Paolo Piccioli for Valentino as a single designer. It's good for Russian models to Raf Simons is back to Calvin Klein, but still not clear for casting. 

Power designer's leaving happened unclear environment to be risk off.

But don't worry about environment. Brands, designers, and casting directors are always giving chances to models to high.  Models must answer that, answer is walking, just walking at will. You must not only see for what it is, but also for what it could be.

NYファッションウィークも既に始まってしまいましたが、ちょっとモデルを取り巻く環境の変化を自分なりにまとめてみました。今回は特に新人モデル、Pradaの最新のAdを取った新人でさえも少し厳しい環境になるかもしれません。
理由の一つはPradaが現在２シーズンを通して今までのPradaガールのシンデレラストーリを否定したことにあります。オープニング＋Adというのがそれですが、春夏はオープニングのみであったり、秋冬は人数が多すぎたりと、キャスティングに明確な方向性が示されていないように感じます。

Adに関してはValentinoも同じで、Maria Grazia ChiuriがDiorに移籍したことを受けて、今までにないキャスティングのAdを公開しました。

Hedi Slimane、Alber Elbazの退任はもうご存知かと思いますし、Maria Grazia Chiuriの移籍もモデル達にとってはどうなるかまだはっきりしません。ロシアンモデル達にとってはRaf SimonsのCalvin Kleinはうれしいことになるかもしれませんが、まだそれもはっきりしてない状況。
今明確なモデルのトレンドを作れるブランドがかなり限られているのです。 
とは言ってもモデル達にとってはまだチャンスになり得るニュースも多いですし、そういったことを考えないでとにかくウォーキングを頑張ってほしいですね。変に自信を無くしてウォーキングを止めてしまうのが一番怖いことだと思いますし。
